Also, I will never get used to authors of books I mention showing up in my LJ to talk about something, although there's enough published authors on my f-list that I ought to be. :D This week, Thersa Matsuura, author of A Robe of Feathers, and Cam Banks, author of The Sellsword, popped by for a visit. While I am attempting to decide what I'm replying to both of them* I thought I'd mention for those of you interested in the subject that Banks explains how the black Vanderjack ended up as a white man on the cover of The Sellsword.





* Because I am incapable of replying without going "You! You showed up! Here! In my LJ! Eeeeeeeeeee!" to pretty much any author, so I need to let it rest a bit so I don't talk like an idiot to them. XD

Oooo, that site has delicious-looking food! The first thing I don't want to try shows up on page 6, the Twinkie Wiener Sandwich. But this is because I've already had one and didn't like it.

I'm not much of a fan of throwing lots of different foods together without much integration, if that makes sense. So the first one I'd try would be the Bacon Cinnamon Roll. :)

I *have* had a deep-fried Twinkie, which is less disgusting than it sounds - it ends up as a very moist yellow cake.

And I just realized I typoed the title of The Sellsword in the post, so I shall go fix that! (or at least see if fixing it on DW fixes it in the crosspost here.)

I've seen that site before. There's some good looking stuff, but so much of it just seems so needlessly messy. Like how do you even eat half that shit?
