Elsewhere, I had a small discussion with someone about a spam link that read "Generics without prescription from licensed online pharmacy! Gabapentin!", wherein I observed that it sounded like an episode title from an anime series.
Which has just inspired me to comb through my spam file on my other email account for titles.
So here we have the 13 episode titles from Season 1 of ... well, something. Probably a love comedy starring a shy and hapless young man named Yuuta with a terrible crush on Haruka, a girl in his class, and the scrapes he inevitably gets into when his friends attempt to matchmake. They need episode descriptions!* Examples below.**
(And feel free to write alternate descriptions for already-written ones, or to elaborate on them! I'll link to them in the comments as they come up.)
1. HELLO - - Shy Yuuta transfers to a new school and is befriended by cheerful, outgoing Haruka, the class president. She gets him to join a club she is in where he makes friends. 2. Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender - Yuuta's new friend Fujiwara finds out that he has a huge crush on Haruka and decides to be a human cupid and get them together! Sending a letter each to Haruka and Yuuta, he invites them to a party that both of them will never forget! (cyancat)
3. Nothing heals better! - Yuuta is caught outside in the rain and catches cold. He'd feel better after eating the rice porridge his loving mother makes, but his parents are on a trip overseas. Haruka and the other club members are concerned and come to Yuuta's house to take care of him. However, Haruka's rice porridge tastes horrible! What will Yuuta say about Haruka and her porridge while he's delirious with fever? Will he finally have a chance to be alone with the super-cute class president? (octopedingenue)
4. Luxury items at huge discounts - Yuuta learns that it will soon be Haruka's birthday. After getting her an expensive necklace he overhears her saying to her friends that she doesn't really like jewellery. Not wanting to give her a present she wont like, but now also being completely broke, Yuuta tries to find part time work to get her something else, but will he manage it in time? (wyrdness)
5. Discovered - Amazing New Way to Shred - A magazine sponsored dance contest has put the school into a frenzy, especially Yuuta! He hopes to ask class president Haruka to dance with him in the contest, but is shocked to find out vice-president Takakura already has! Now Yuuta is determined to win the contest to impress Haruka, but one thing stands in his way- Yuuta can't dance! (cyancat)
6. Email Handling Opinion Needed - Yuuta typed out an email to Haruka, but didn't send it. However, he left his email account open on a school computer. One of Haruka's friends goes snooping and reads it. Yuuta finds out. What to do?! (melster)
7. Talk about payback time! - Haruka has been getting odd letters in her shoe locker everyday after class, talking about getting the ultimate payback. Haruka and her friends are scared to the bone, with even Yuuta fearing for her life! Then one letter states the payback will be done tomorrow at noon! Yet imagine the surprise when who should appear the next day but.... Yuuta's older sister Maya?(cyancat)
8. News from Cali - Yuuta's childhood friend Nami comes back from America! When they were young, they promised to get married and Nami still wants to make it come true. Is Haruka jealous? But the dashing vice-president Takakura confesses to her by saying "I'll never make you cry." Is this the end for Yuuta and Haruka?! (re_weird)
9. Turning Bears Into Bulls 'Buy' - Yuuta dreams one night that he is a lowly servant in the castle belonging to the family of Princess Haruka. Suitor from afar, Takakura, appears for Haruka's hand in marriage. Yet that night Yuuta sees a figure running from the castle and follows. Catching up to him, he finds out its Princess Haruka herself! She convinces Yuuta to help her run away or else she'll be married to Takakura. Its his dream come true, but Takakura is hot on their heels! Will the power of love triumph before Yuuta wakes up? (cyancat)
10. Get your bikini body and hit the beach - This is the traditional Everyone Visits The Beach episode. Our protagonist's class heads off for a class trip to the beach that involves fun in the sun, watermelons, bikinis, and fireworks in the evening. Highlights include Yuuta getting his nerve up to ask Haruka out, and being struck dumb by the sight of her in her bathing suit. (telophase)
11. Become her passionate lion - Yuuta decides the best way to win Haruka's heart is with his masculinity! As he's always found that somewhat...lacking, he asks Ken, the tough guy of the school, to give him some tips. But he soon learns Ken's not as tough as he seems...and has some troubles of his own. 12. RSVP - Yuuta manages to slip a note into Haruka's locker (or her jacket pocket?) asking her out, although immediately regrets it. Hijinks ensue as he tries to get it back without her noticing. The episode climaxes as Haruka reads the note and approaches Yuuta. She opens her mouth to reply, and the credits roll. (telophase)
13. Every night will never be the same again - The final episode, on the eve of the last day of class. There will be much nostalgia for times gone by and friends maybe never seen again. Perhaps it is even told in flashback, narrated by an older Yuuta. What was Haruka's answer? (telophase)
