Japanese-reading peeps...

ETA; Got it, thanks!

I'm listing some doujinshi on eBay right now, and if it were possible for someone to read the cover of this one and tell me what the (a) circle name is, and the (b) title is, (plus any other info you can glean) for this one, that would be AWESOMECAKES.

The scan isn't great because the title is on a metallic background. I can try to take a better photo, if that helps:

Front: http://magatsu.net/doujinshi/bleach/WeekendOnly001.jpg - it's repeated on the back in white. The subtitle is teeeeny, so I'll try to take a picture of it. (eta; it's repeated inside in black on white; am downloading photo now)

Back: http://magatsu.net/doujinshi/bleach/WeekendOnly002.jpg (I'm really not sure what to make of the English info on the back, any guidance appreciated.)

I really don't know how helpful this is going to be, but just in case...

The kanji come out as: 'Banji Shinigami Kusazoushi' - literally, 'banji' = all/everything, 'kusazoushi' = illustrated storybook/picture book from the Edo period, and I'm sure you have your own preferred translation of shinigami.

However, the furigana next to it seems, from what I can read, to be saying "yorozu shinigami soushi." It doesn't seem to change the meaning, it's still some kind of all-inclusive shinigami artbook or something (translation NOT my strong point) and I have no idea why they've selected readings that exclude two of the kanji there.

I can't see any more Japanese. I would have guessed Weekend was the name of the circle, but I'm not into doujinshi and have barely even seen any before, so I expect you'd know better than I would about that!

Thanks! It gives me a place to start, so I can figure out what other people are translating it as. :D I think Weekend may be the name of the circle as well, but I'll be looking at that before making the listing. XD

ETA: And that led me right to someone else's listing online, so: perfect! :D

I'm actually shocked that this was useful in any way, but glad I could help! :D Good luck with the sale! What was it translated as, just out of curiosity?

They didn'[t translate it, actually, but that meant that I felt I could go ahead with the romanji in the title, because people would be looking for it that way. :)

Okay, that makes sense - I wouldn't fancy attempting a translation of that either! I bet [livejournal.com profile] homasse would be able to come up with something decent if you wanted to have a translation in brackets as well as the romaji though.

The English info is saying the circle name is Weekend and the book is Bleach-only (not multi-fandom) and the focus is on Soul Society as a whole, rather than any specific pairing.

OK, thanks! :D
