In trying to fix the remapping i have now turned the laptop display on its side. Better let myrialux fix it.

Oh dear...I had to do some keyboard remapping to get the Kinesis to work properly with Mac OS X, but having it reset against my intention would be seriously annoying. Silly kitten!

Ctrl-Alt-direction should fix the rotation issue. It's a stupid Windows "feature" one of my coworkers discovered a few months ago.

ETA: err.. not that he was the first to discover it, by any means. Just that I've seen it happen recently. ^^;

I remembered there was a key combination, but not what it was, and it was too much effort to scroll using the trackpad when the screen was sideways. :D But myrialux came over and fixed both issues. (Sora'd actually turned on the num lock, rather than remapping the keyboard, which totally didn't occur to me. XD)

Ahha! I'd wondered about that (the numlock), but wasn't sure what the matching key for "fn" on my Macbook was on a PC laptop.

fn. :) ALthough the blue markings on the keyboard and the low light levels in my living room are not compatible with each other, so it would ahve been a while before I figured out which keys to press togehter. XD

Thank you so much! I've had the same issue too and it was really annoying using the trackpad to set it right again.
