Most of the ones I've partially seen I've only seen 1 or 2 episodes of and decided I didn't want to watch the rest of it. I've also read the manga of many more of these series than I've seen the anime. I also only underlined those I owned legitimately - if I'd included the fansubs, I could probably have added a few more.

I think I will not post mine...I have read-own-seen so few mangas/animes I feel small compared with you all.

Hey Telo, can I ask you a question. I noticed you have seen several Rurouni Kenshin material. I know there are two OVAs, one that is a crappy one, and one that is a good one. I recently bought (I haven't seen it for lack of time), the OVA collection which consists in three DVDs: "Trust", "Betrayal", and "Reflection". Is this the good one or the bad one?
Why one is bad and the other not? Aren't both created by Watsuki?

Also I notice the characters are slightly different drawn, but that does not bother me too much as long as the story is good.

The art and animation is much better in the OVAs than in the series, because of reasons of time and budget, obviously, and they redid the character designs because they're really more drama/tragedy than action/comedy, like the series was.

It's been a while, and actually I haven't completely finished the OVAs. Trust/Betrayal is the story of Kenshin and Tomoe, his wife, back when he was the Battousai. I've seen Trust but not Betrayal. The other one takes place after the end of the series and apparently the story wasn't written by Watsuki, and rumor has it he was Not Pleased with what they did. That's all hearsay, though.

I've only seen half of that, too, because I have this weird thing about the final episodes in a series - they're always sort of sad for me, because after this, there's no more (well, unless the producers decide to make more...), so it always takes a while to get around to watching them. The last disc of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen sat around my apartment for weeks before I could bring myself to watch it. And then a year later, turns out they made another series. XD

I will, one day, finish watching the RK episodes, but as long as I don't, the series is stil alive, in some weird way. Hee.

LOL...I understand you perfectly. It happens the same when you read a good book. Once you finish it's like saying good bye to a character(s) that has grown inside you. I don't know this mania of mine of living up all cool characters of stories we read like Kenshin...maybe because their worlds are better than our own :p

I have seen the whole RK, and actually, I was watching it again some time ago but I stopped because I have no time now. Up to the arc of Tokyo, the anime is awesome...but after that, with some exceptional good episodes, the series is pretty dull.

:D I'm that way with books I've been anticipating for a long time, too. It usually takes me a few tries to get into them, because I read a few pages, then put the book down and do something else, then pick the book back up again until about 25% of the way through it, when I'm finally immersed enough not to put it down. Harry Potter 5 I put down partway through and did homework and messed about online for 4 or 5 hours before picking it up and finishing it, and it always takes me a bit to get into a new Bujold because I've always anticipated it. :)
