At work

Not especially happy about it. :D Third day of voice being affected so I'm honking and croaking my way through life like a teenage boy hitting puberty. May have potential migraine brewing as I got very little sleep last night thanks to coughing.* Roped myrialux in for an emergency bookstore trip last night.

Shopping list for today: a ton more Coke 0 as I have been going through it like mad these past few days. Possibly some food.




* Concerned people telling me to go to the doctor will be politely ignored. Coughing scarily is Standard Operating Procedure for me for colds and is not worrisome for a few days more. I shall probably leave work early and go home for a nap, unless a miracle occurs and I get immensely better.

I sound like the voice from beyond the grave today, myself! And yeah, I usually trail off into a consumptive-sounding cough too. But if it lasts more than a couple of days, I get the doc to prescribe stuff so I can sleep.

Do you ever try honey? They say it's as effective as most cough syrup. I haven't had that hacking horrible cough lately so I haven't tried it, but.
