Non-woolen ones are definitely out there...I can't wear wool against my skin either, but I've got a few pairs of stripey Hello Kitty arm warmers in a nice non-irritating cotton/spandex blend. :)

(Are you looking for you or the YL? Hot Topic actually tends to have wrist/arm warmers in plain acrylic or cotton/spandex blends (mostly lots of solid black, black-with-colored stripes, or black with random punky/gothy prints and embellishments), and my Kitty-chan sets actually came from Claire's. If you're looking for something a little plainer in solid colors other than black, I just saw a stash of long cotton/spandex fingerless gloves at Macy's winter accessories department last week.)
