DIRECTIONS:
1. This is an animated gif I made from one of the Urasai! comedy extras after the credits in the anime version of Saiyuki Reload. It was part of an ongoing gag running through several Urasai! eps involving a game that Goku and Hakkai played against each other that involved paper cutouts of Sanzo and Gojyo engaging in combat in a tiny sumo ring. Sanzo, unable to stand losing even when it's somebody else playing as a cardboard cutout of him, would always interfere in some way to prevent the Gojyo cutout from winning. In this one, I believe Gojyo had said he'd stop Sanzo from interfering, and suffered the consequences. :)
2. An icon made for me bylady_noremon when I was taking an Italian class. :) It reads "Where is the Sanzo? There is the Sanzo!"
3. Ah-ha-ha. My 15 minutes of fame amongst the Filipino LJ crew. A couple of years back there was a wank on fandom_wank that started when a Filipino doujinshi circle contacted the mods of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
yaoi_daily and offered scans of their doujinshi. The mods refused, citing the rule that yaoi_daily only posts Asian works, and the Philippines weren't Asian. Cue everyone with any ounce of sense pointing out that as a matter of fact the Philippines do happen to be in Asia and therefore Filipino works are by definition Asian. The mods never backed down on their decision during the course of the wank, but as I don't pay attention to the comm, I don't know if they've changed it since. I made the icon in honor of the wank, and it's been borrowed by several Filipinos and others since, so you may see it around.
4. A Mushishi live-action movie icon made for me bychomiji, after I complained of not having any Mushishi icons. :D
5. This is a crop of a photo of the kitsune statuerachelmanija and Isaw in Kyoto at the mysterious kitsune shrine we found. It's highly blurry since it occupies about 1/100000th of the original photo, but I thought it looked Mysterious and Foreboding [tm].
6. An icon made for me bysmillaraaq from a recent page in the Bleach manga, after I posted a larger version of it, complaining that I didn't know why people didn't take manga seriously. XD Also see rachelmanija's icon here, from Shounen Onmyouji, which is a spiritual predecessor to it.
Won't guarantee I'll get to actually picking icons for everyone, but I'll try to get to you!
