(no subject)

I do have a bit of another scene (and when I say "bit," I mean, like, two sentences) from the "I hate elves" thing from a few months back.

Naturally, it takes place at some point later than the bit I linked to, and I haven't the slightest idea what comes in between. *sigh* And, dammit, there's goats in it.

You could just try writing what comes after the first bit and go from there?

I have some pictures of goats, if they could annoy you into inspiration.

I don't think I'm at the point where I can try just bulling from step 1 to step 46, or whatever the second scene in my head is. I usually have to have a few more bits and bobs before doing that produces anything useful. :/

Heck, send 'em on. I've attempted to find humorous accounts of taking on goat farms, or anything similar, in an attempt to find out in excruciating detail why Our Narrator hates goats so much, but there seems to be a surprising lack of travel/memoir books about goat farms. Harrumph.

Goats! (http://pics.livejournal.com/lady_ganesh/gallery/0002r541)

Goats are annoying as hell. They're bossy, they'll eat anything, and they bleat. A lot. Does that help? (There's always Herriot.)

Thanks!

Are they subject to many and varied bizarre diseases in the way sheep are?

I don't know! I'll ask. The thought in my head is 'impossible to kill,' but that may just be the impression I get.

Oh, there's a goat in the second Tiffany Aching book, I think. It's definitely in one of the first too and I'm pretty sure it's Hat Full of Sky.
