I now present to you...


Half-Naked Gojyo! Posing with his shakujo! Trying to impress Hakkai girls! A companion piece to Half-Naked Sanzo, done in pencil on charcoal paper. As per usual, the scanner kills the subtlest details in the shading and makes other details harsher, so you're just not going to get the best effect. Ah well.

Though, and I hate to say it, he looks almost aneorexic. Maybe it's the over large pants that give that affect... I don't know, because I'm not artist, but that's my two cents.

Thank you! There's two small grease spots in it from when the lightbox fell over onto *something* on the floor, but luckily they both ended up in his hair and I was able to disguise them. *phew*

He's gorgeous. Nice sense of movement, which is always important for Gojyo, I think. What with the shakajou and his hair there needs to be swishing.

Oo. Absolutely love this one. I was just catching up and went back to see the sketches, and I was going to comment on the rough before this one that he was a little on the "sharp" side. I thought I'd check this one out first, though, and the sharpness is much toned down. Now he just looks anorexic, as he ought to. :D

The perspective here is really neat. I really like how the head of the shakujo is coming towards the viewer. Almost seems to pop right out of the page.

He really is lovely. Even with the Goofy Pants. Though, he'd obviously be better without them, naturally. ^_~
