...I've been receiving the postcard y'all have been sending me. They're all great. :D And poignant, too, when you read them with the knowledge that this is something the person is giving up in exchange for ... something else they wanted or needed.

badnoodles sent along an additional bit of info on the circumstances of the postcard she authored, which was cool, too. :D

Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know I was getting them, since I am FAIL at acknowledging them individually. If you're wanting to know if yours in particular has made it yet, just drop me a line and I'll tell ya. :D

Better than I expected - I read them and I tear up a little at the thought someone is giving up this memory, and then it makes me wonder what it is that could be so important that they'd do this. (Or even if they got to choose which memory would go, or if it was chosen for them.) :D

During Golden Week, I took the Shinkansen to Ōsaka. When I was at the Shin- Ōsaka train station, I lost my return ticket. That caused me a lot of trouble. Then I met up with my friends. We went to the Nanzenji Temple and saw a Mikoshi.
