It may have been, but I watched it on the order of 2 years ago, so my memory is fuzzy about it. The most vivid thing I remember is the inflatable sheep. XD
I mostly remember Gwendal's creations and Anissina's inventions. That, and that the main character's name in a Magical Girl/Shounen-Ai parody is named Yuri.
Yuri stands no chance whatsoever. He's wearing a dress in ep 3. (Not telling you the circumstances.)
Although Yuri's mom appears to be named Jennifer, and is bitching about having to wear a kimono when she accompanies his dad to work-related parties in America, because everyone expects her to wear a kimono and is always "Ooooh! Kimono! Geisha! Beautiful!"
(He has family members appearing out of the woodwork. I'm fairly certain that his older brother didn't show up in series 1...)
I think the brother is mentioned, but not seen. (Clearly, I should rewatch S1 before watching S2.)
Yuri was already even more of a shoujo heroine than Watanuki, anyway. i think the dress just seals the deal. (I swear those are the only 2 characters who can pull that off without making me want to hurt something.)
We saw his dad in flashbacks, and I think very briefly with Bob. I remember his dad and Bob purely because Jennifer thought the demon stuff was so cool. Jennifer is special. It explains why Yuri is Yuri.
Please send up flares if Wolfram ever gets any significant nookie so I can know when to start catching up again, as the never-to-be-resolved-because-it's-psuedoshonenai-romcom-tease dodecahedron was KEELLING ME, and the shame of shipangsting over a show that thinks magic McGuffin boxes of arms constitute plot was too great to bear.
Not in the first DVD, but the previews for ep 6 promise a romantic triangle of sorts between Wolfram, Yuri, and some random blonde chick who looks a lot like Sailor Moon. But I have to wait for Netflix to send it to me.
OH OH you are not as far along as I thought you were, then; for some reason I thought you were through the 60(ish?) ep series and onto the OVAs or whatever. Because I saw that episode and LOVED IT LIKE I LOVE MARSHMALLOWS.
It counts as an entirely new series? I thought it was just the second season...oh well, I never actually finished it because for some reason 5-10 of the final episodes were still unfansubbed a year after they came out, and I got distracted by other shiny while I was waiting. One of the last episodes I remember clearly is the random blonde chick episode in all its beautifully dumb Utena-snarking glory.
I hope someday that all the original KKM novels get licensed (that or I become beautifully fluent in Japanese, which may be more likely) as it turns out they are totally hilarious.

Also the dysfunctional Mazoku family break me.
