Manga recs needed!

From puppleball, a highschool teacher* and a friend of mine in RL:

The kids in my anime club have requested to have a manga library. I'll be putting up a donation page on donor's choose in the next few weeks, but I'd like some recommended series. This is HS level, however, it needs to be school appropriate (PG 13). I know there's lists out there and I'll be hitting those, but what I'm wanting from you guys is manga "they must read."
