Decision...

Hrm. Want grilled-cheese sandwich, but bread has green spots on it, and putting on real clothing and goin to the grocery store is Out Of The Questions.

I do have English muffins in the freezer...

English muffins + cheese are awesome. I used to have that, with a fried egg on top, for breakfast all the time.

Alternatively, most bread mold is not harmful. You could just cut out the green spots and eat the rest.

The last time I (accidentally) ate bread mold, I got violently ill. I think the mental conditioning is too much to overcome. :) I'm inclining more to the English muffin. :D

English muffin grilled cheese is decadent. Remember to butter the outside of the muffins. Little round cheesy morsels of goodness.

Also good with a slice of tomato in each one.

Ah, yeah. A very good reason not to eat mold.

But like I said, English muffins and cheese are great!

As [livejournal.com profile] wordsofastory said, you can trim off the mold. My fiance does this, and he's fine. He has the stomach of a goat, though.

Oh, I had a grilled cheese just now! ^^ I made it in the George Foreman grill since I don't have a griddle, but it sure beats how I used to make them, which pretty much entailed toasting two pieces of bread and then hurriedly squashing a slice of cheese in between them. [/random]

That's how I make my grilled cheese sandwiches, too! XD Actually, I put them in the toaster oven with a slice of cheese on top of each, toast them, and then mash then together. It actually works pretty well for the times you don't want to lug out a pan/griddle/whatever to make them the 'proper' way.

My guardian likes to make them by toasting the bread, buttering the inside and microwaving it ^^;

I like them pan-fried with a thin slice of ham >.>
