Oh my dear sweet Jesus.

*hides under desk* I'm not coming out. It's safer here.

There are no crazy-in-the-bad-way people here. So much safer. *nods*

You took the words right out of my mouth.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-05-15 03:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I sort of hope that whoever-it-is on f_w starts an DN elite comm dedication to actual discussion because I did like that. But I can see the potential wankfest looming on the horizon.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-05-15 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
You got your modstick ready for action? XD

I am fighting the urge to post a totally insane screed for Mello. XD

(hm.... it may be time to take [livejournal.com profile] narumione_4_eva out of stasis and start trolling... nah.)

[livejournal.com profile] narumione_4_eva is pretty much used only for trolling on [livejournal.com profile] chibipoe's journal, where she's an in-joke between him and me, although she did post an application in netspeak to [livejournal.com profile] mangasnobs, where she gained the distinction of being the only person ever rejected from that comm. XD

[identity profile] worstangel.livejournal.com 2005-05-15 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh... oh gods.

*crawls, bleeding and crying, into her Happy Place.*

[identity profile] labyrinths.livejournal.com 2005-05-15 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)
*heaves a sigh* Well... this sucks... But after the n00b post in [livejournal.com profile] death_note, I guess it's to be expected.

[identity profile] cerusee.livejournal.com 2005-05-15 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
What the fucking fuck is this shit? O_o

[identity profile] cerusee.livejournal.com 2005-05-15 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Neji! Love to your icon.

Neji's the best lil' snarkface ever.

I predict that most of the kids posting there will look all emo and gothy.

"I think I'm most like L cuz I like candy, lolz."

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-05-15 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
There's one who's so obviously going for Raito it's almsot painful.

I'd be all "Well, I think I am SMARTER THAN ALL OF YOU and I will RANT at LENGTH about you idjits at the DROP of a HAT. Oh, and I like chocolate."

[identity profile] dragonscholar.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
(Stark) I have no prayer for this.

[identity profile] kurobahikaru.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
*in true f_w fashion, points and laughs* Dude, that totally just made my night. >XDDDDD

Fandom_Wank: We're not laughing with you, we're laughing at you. (Which has probably been done before, but that doesn't make it any less true.)

What does jumping the shark mean? o.o;;;

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
Jumping the shark is the point at which a television show has gone completely, irretrievably bad. Named after the episode of Happy Days in which Fonzie actually jumped a shark. http://www.jumptheshark.com/ (http://www.jumptheshark.com/) for more info.

[identity profile] kurobahikaru.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
I think I actually remember that episode... which scares me greatly, as I thought I'd blocked it all from my mind. O.o;;;

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
I thought I must have seene very episode of Happy Days ever, but then I looked and saw it ran from 1974-1984, and I *know* I stopped watching it by 1979 or so, which is now making me feel Very Very Old.

[identity profile] kurobahikaru.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
I caught reruns in the late 80s and 90s. ;.; *is young/old*

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
In first grade I stayed after school at a neighbor's house who watched neighborhood kids after school. Her daughter wasn't in school yet but was a total bitch already and ruled the TV with an iron fist. So every day after school, we watched Happy Days, Gilligan's Island, and the Brady Bunch, thus contributing to a lifelong loathing of all three of those shows on my part, since I was forced to watch them.

[identity profile] kurobahikaru.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
At that age, I also stayed after school at a neighbor's house, when my mom was out running errands. I got to play with her purebred Siamese and remember watching the Super Mario Super Show. "Swing your arms from side to side, come on get up let's all do the Mario..." *shudder* It led to random rediscovering of a fandom, though. Captain N, the Game Master! XD The Happy Days reruns came on in the morning. I remember watching them before school and when I was home sick.

Ah, they're making it so hard on themselves! With my high school training in survey-making, I have found an easier way to structure the application:

1. Who's your favourite character?
2. Talk about yourself at length, emphasising qualities you see in your favourite character:

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-05-16 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
They currently accept comments from anyone - you could always go to the ones that say: "I'm pretty smart and like to sit funny and I'm eating all the time" and say, "Rem. Definitely Rem," and watch them go ballistic.
