This came from the comments in my previous entry, and I think I'll just repost my rambling on it here:

So far I predict that the standard shounen heroes will all be Stus, because that seems to be a prerequisite for that sort of character. OTOH, Gary Stu and Mary Sue characters tend to appeal directly to the target demographic of 14-year-old boys and girls (the age at which most of you confess to voraciously reading Forgotten Realms novels XD), so there's really no surprise in that.

Since I cannot kill you, I will join you and wait for the real you to emerge so I can fight and kill you!" count as "motivated by revenge"? Does Kyo count as being adopted by a cruel person? And would being raised by Kyo count as having to raise yourself?

Should I put Shinrei and Hotaru there, then? I think those 2 and Sasuke are the only other ones in SDK I can properly do.

ETA: And okuni and Mahiro. Okuni will probably be...like...5...

It doesn't matter where - I'll put them in my spreadsheet and edit that post make another one later.

But of course! He has such a reputation! (And in multiple areas, too!) And political enemies. And tactical genius. And is cute as the dickens, despite (seemingly) having an alcohol habit that could kill a moose.

And I even let him slide on...several things.

I think the reason Yuya is the only one to escape so far is that she doesn't get to fight.

And can you imagine Kyoshiro if he were around the whole time? (I mean, he's already the most special snowflake in the series.)
