Even the stuff that doesn't look like *anything* identifiable looks AMAZING! A work of art that makes one drool!
I'm afraid to go to any such place because I'd fear that anything looking that good might not have a taste that measures up! I'm *certainly* afraid that, with my wonky sense of smell, I would totally lack the palate to truly appreciate fine cuisine.
That and I'd probably cause a few waiters to catch the vapors by asking for a pitcher of Bock with my meal ;)
If you read through the thread, they get around to reporting on the taste about page 3 or 3, and apparently it tastes as good as it looks. :) And the wait staff have senses of humor - one woman managed to accidentally shoot a roll across the room, and the server muttered to her, "Bread rolls at 20 paces, madam. You may wish to re-arm." (or something like that - I'm paraphrasing)
