Matted! Yay!
The enormo-print is matted! Finally! We're just not looking up close at the details of the mat and relying on the low light levels in my living room to disguise any imperfections!

Yeah, may-cutting is not the tidiest of occupations. XD
And this is what it will EVENTUALLY look like. I haven't put it up yet because the frame is HEAVY so it will require me to hammer the nails into wall studs (more than one if there's not a stud in the exact center of the space), and I'll have to use my level and chalk string thing to mark the places and it's just way much of a hassle to do alone. Unless someone else shows up over here first, I'll probably wait until
myrialux gets here and hang it then.
Until then, we must rely on my Photoshop skills to see what it'll look like! I think I've got the picture a little too big in this - it's 36" wide and that wall is 5' wide, so it ought to be smaller. But you can get the idea of what it'll look like.
