I'm up at the Ref Desk on the main floor of the library now. It's finals week, the place is abuzz with students pretending to study, and as far as I can see the tables are a sea of paper shreds, backpacks, and Red Bull cans.

I'm fairly sure the Red Bull cans outnumber the students.

Hmm....Just Red Bull? If it were out here, there would be quite the colorful variety littering the tables....Monster (and LoCarb Monster) Rockstar, Full Throttle, etc etc... I'm a Monster girl myself. :D

I prefer the regular myself, but I can drink the Lo Carb if there's nothing else. And it's dangerous, because we sell that at my store.....I have to try to keep myself at the 3 can limit some days. :D

The only non--standard-soda, non-water, non-tea, non-coffee thing they're selling at the coffee bar is Red Bull, hence the massive overload of it, I expect.

We're also open 24/7 this week - the assistant dean told me today that the gate numbers indicate we didn't go below 100 students inside at any time during the night, and at about 6:30 it started going up again. :)

Yeah, finals are a weird time because people are supposed to be studying but they're also wanting to enjoy their time with friends -- so they try to combine studying and socializing.

Me, I'm just trying to finish up the reading for the semester, let alone study for the final just yet.

Pshaw. Full Throttle, Monster, and Bawls kick the crap out of Red Bull...

My personal energy drink record would be 3 bottle of Bawls within an hour. I was shaking. Not recommended for anyone.

Anyways, I am now officially done with my finals, so after writing one more paper and packing, I'm all set. Yay

Yeah, but these student would have to stir their lily-white asses and *gasp* leave campus to get anything other than Red Bull. And then they wouldn't be able to use their meal cards and have Momma and Daddy pay for it. :)
