Oh come ON people..
I just started watching this week's Design Star on HGTV* and one of the contestants injured her finger in the first episode, and it's swollen so badly her ring needs to be cut off. So we're treated to a scene of a fire engine pulling up and the firefighters cutting it off. I am really hoping that they volunteered to come out and do that, rather than someone on crew calling 911 for something this simple. They really should have dispatched someone on the crew to take her to the ER or a clinic and get it cut off. :P

* And it always astounds me that, because the winner of the show becomes a host of a show on RGTV, some of the contestants think it's a GOOD IDEA to be bitchy and catty about the others in the interview segments, and to just be all-round nasty. No way in hell is HGTV making someone who does that a host.
