XD I will cop to a fair bit of use of an Art Nouveau clip art book for elements of it...

At my last job I used to work with a part-timer who, at age 23, was having a little of trouble getting her life together (dropped out of college, no direction or career ambitions or meaningful relationships, that sort of thing). I think it was for this reason that she jumped at every opportunity to let her co-workers know that her father was a fairly well-connected guy in the area--if you happened to mention that your car needed an oil change, or that you were planning to go see a local play, she'd say, "If you need a mechanic, my dad knows a guy!" or "If they're sold out of tickets, my dad knows a guy!" It didn't matter if you already had a mechanic you liked, or if the tickets had already been bought--she was always ready to help! It was such an obvious and pathetic attempt to boost her sense of power and self-importance that every time she tripped over herself to assure us that if we needed anything, her dad knew how to get it done, I'd mentally amend "my dad knows a guy" with, "who can have you whacked."

This is the backstory to my real comment on this post, which is--you are very annoying, and you should know that Alana's dad knows a guy who can have you whacked.

...this feels like it should be one of those online games where you move the pieces of the puzzle around with your mouse. >XD
chomiji: Hotaru from Samurai Deeper Kyo, a little closer to Kyo's blade Tenrou than he'd like, with the caption Uh Oh Crap (Hotaru-uh oh!)

And of course, my first reaction was "OMG, what happened to it???"
