Had three-hour nap, then woke up with enough energy to attempt an expedition to get a new router. Unfortunately thunderstorms are headed this way ad I'd rather not be on the highway at night in storms. I am frantically downloading the current Doctor Who ep before the storms arrive as I ahve been specifically told I must watch it (I got the previous two I'm behind on last night). I know what I'm doing tonight!

I'm wondering if the pressure dropped last night, triggering the migraine? They seem to be loosely correlated with thunderstorms.

Ew....Severe? I'm glad I'm not back in town yet. I'm in Arkansas.

I think there's pockets of severity - there's red splotches on the radar here and there and some spectacular lighting on occasion. But there's been almost no rain in my area. :/

ew. Well, if you live by a body of water, it's a lower pressure zone so the rain will split around it. I live on Lake Ray Hubbard so we get almost NO RAIN whatsoever in Rowlett.

I'm not sure there's one around here. There's a river not too far away, and I'm in a green belt just south of the museum district in Fort Worth, so maybe that has something to do with it. Or maybe it's just chance.

N. Texas has a bunch of weird spots. Apparently weather splits up along the Balcones Fault in Austin too. Texas is weird, yo.

My coworker has a new house up north of here somewhere, and what area up there gets rain depends on which side of I-35 it's on: they hardly ever get it while just the other side of the highway does. XD

Oh! The updraft off the interstate will do that! I've noticed that on the radar it'll stop at I-35

I've recently discovered that White Zinfandel wine is a trigger for my migranes. Regular Reds and Whites don't do it, but something about that blush will trigger a migrane the next day (no matter what time I drink it before going to bed).

Glad to hear your migraine's getting better. Can you remember what your water intake (not fluid intake, straight water intake) has been like in the past day or so? Dehydration might be contributing to the migraines. I know if I don't get enough water one day, I get horrible (have to lie in the dark with my eyes closed for hours, even after chugging 8-10 Advil) headaches the next day.

I don't even want to think about the combination of dehydration and a migraine.

Can't say for sure on that particular day, but in general my water intake has been much better than usual, since I'm Yet Again trying to kick the caffeine habit and don't drink anything but water after work. (Caffeine withdrawal triggers migraines for me, and I'm not even dependent on a large amount - on weekends I have *one* Coke Zero per day to keep the headache from happening.)

Ah. All right.

No further advice, I'm afraid.
