I just threw four Death Note doujinshi up on eBay, experimentally. Between discovering moving ALL THAT HEAVY PAPER was not all it was cracked up to be and the general deficit in my cash flow from hemorrhaging money on setting up a new apartment, it seemed like an ideal solution. :D Starting bid reflects the price I paid in Japan plus a bit extra for the shipping over here.

Hee! :D I can't read the Japanese, but I think Light gets quite thoroughly mocked throughout the book. XD

I'm hoping that they do well enough to help me start the Buy telophase A New Printer So She Can Print Good Large Prints Again Fund. these first four are an experiment - if the bids get high enough I'll put more of the DN and Bleach stuff up. Not all, though. There's ones I wanna keep. XD

Light needs a good mocking on a daily basis, like misting a plant. Although I cannot honestly decide which is a bigger dramawhore, Light or Howl (questions of Good vs Evil aside!).

After two years(!) I can very slowly sorta read kana, which means I can read endings like "-ka?" and "yo!" and those training-wheel kana next to kanji in kids' manga. Only all of katakana, 7 kajillion kanji, and all of syntax and grammar left to go! Which will still be unhelpful for most doujinshi that are handwritten and skritchy. (The Iruka doujinshi you sent me is typed, though! But has no training-wheel kana. Presumably because if you're trying to read Kakashi/Iruka smut, you should be reading kanji with the big girls.)

YAY PRINTS! Though my Ptutu print is still in its tube because I have been too lazy to find a frame for it. But I admire the tube often!

If you sell (to someone not me) the one with L eating Light like a strawberry, I will be sad.
