Just to remind you all - since Mondays are the busiest time on LJ - that you can pre-order the Project Blue Rose: Human Touch anthology, to be shipped in mid-June. :) (I'm being a little vague about the exact ship date, as I have that whole "A-Kon" and then "moving" thing to contend with at the beginning of June.)

"Grocer's apostrophe"--so that's what misusing an apostrophe to make a plural is called. Thank you.

Yup! I think it may be more common over on the right side of the pond, but I find it a useful phrase. :)


(One of my favorite New Yorker cartoons had a policeman pulling over a van with something like ME AND WALLYS PRODUCE on the side. The officer was saying "I'm going to have to cite you for reckless grammar and driving without an apostrophe.")
