..don't remember where I downloaded it from, but saw the doujinshi! Great work guys! I especially liked yours Telophase (it was hard out!) and fanartist and the-z's omake! Are you guys publishing this? Anyways, great work! You all did a great job ^0^
Hey I dunno if it's too late, but a suggestion for the cover? You might want to put the doujinshi artists like...on the back or something? That might grab people's attention if they know the artist (I know that is my first interest when I'm browsing doujinshi...)
XD I know there's some interest from people not going to A-Kon, so I'll probably be holding a few back, and there will be a PDF version available eventually, too. :)
I've got the names of the contributors right inside, but I'll think about the back cover - I'm sending it off to the pritners later today, so there's till a little bit of time. :)
You're not shrink-wrapping it, are you? If you are, the contributors should definitely be on the back cover. In Japan, the doujinshi I saw were all shrink-wrapped, and the back cover had credits, plus a Xerox of about half a page worth of panels inserted under the wrap, so people could see if they liked the art before they bought.
Nah. I hate buying doujinshi when I'm guessing what the interior art is like based on the cover, which is always done by the best member of the circle. I lucked out at AnimeFest and got 3 with nice interiors. What you saw in Japan seems like an excellent way of doing it.
Heehee. The first print run is gonna be 50, 7 of which go to the contributors. I've already seen about ten people going "I want one!!" and I was planning on holding a few back from A-Kon for those who can't go who say they want one. I have no idea how well they'll sell there.
As for price ... I have no clue yet. I'm pushing that decision off as long as possible.

Have fun with it! XD And man, I need a Father Anderson icon, I think. With something like "Hoooooooor!" on it.
