There's someone on my f-list who is planning a Sekrit Project of commissioning someone to create a family painting from reference photos. But she can't post about it on her LJ because her family, who are the subjects of the painting, read it and the picture is meant to be a surprise. :) The budget is $100-150, and the deadline is early June. If you're interested, email her at project (at) magatsu (dot) net, which should forward to her regular email, or email me and I'll put you in touch with her. :)

ETA: If you know of any artist who might be interested, please point them this way!

Oh I'm sure she is. I just believe there'd be someone who'd be better than someone who hasn't digitally painted portraits in 2+ years xD;;

Hey, it's her decision to make. :) Send her a message, saying you can do traditional, along with examples of your work. Either you'll be the only one and you'll be a shoo-in, or she'll get a variety of artists to choose from and can pick one that best suits her taste. :)
