Card Game

Collating what's been decided from yesterday's post about the card game.

1. Size: 2.5 x 3.5" That's a 5 x 7" sheet cut in quarters, and a standard trading card size.

2. The rules are Rock, Paper, Scissors, only using Triangle Circle Square. Triangle -> Circle -> Square -> Triangle, etc. Artists can do whatever they want with the cards, provided there's a circle, square, or triangle on each.

3. We'll create a template (or two, or three?) for the cards and post them to the website, when it eventually goes up, to provide some sort of consistency. (A template with space for text, and one without, for those who don't want to do that?)

4. The website will have the rules and a sample pack of low-quality cards to download and play with, along with links to the sites of artists selling their own cards.

5. Anyone can make and sell cards for it. They don't even have to tell us if they don't want to. But we encourage them to do so, so we can link to their sites, and we also encourage sending a few (or more!) low-quality versions for sample packs.

I miss anything?

Next steps, in no particular order:

1. Create templates

2. Create website

3. Get other artists in on it

4. Create cards. :D

ETA: 5. Oh, yeah, duh: create name. XD "Battle Bishies" is silly enough to sell, and is annoyingly catchy. ("New! Battle Bishies expansion pack! Now with bishoujo!") Any better ideas?

This sounds so cool.

I think it's a nifty way for people to inexpensively collect art from their favorite artists. Hopefully a lot of people think that!
