Bleach 163

Took a break from the doujinshi to watch Bleach 163, and took a few screencaps, naturally. This isn't really telophase's Out of Context Theatre, even though there's some definite out-of-context happening, because the majority of the shots are from the omake after the credits. In this particular omake, Soi Fon is giving orders to a member of the Shinigami Women's Association* for the capture of Yoruichi. Only she's neglecting to mention one teeny, pertinent piece of information...

Grimmjow wears the look MUCH better than Logan does. I think Ishida objects ro having the bodily functions of others mentioned to him.

Aah, Soi Fon, such...loving terms. I think Rukia helped set up the secret committee meeting place as an act of rebellion.

The omake in the previous few episodes dealt with the Shinigami Women's Association* deciding to take photos of the captains and put them into a calendar to sell to make money. They failed miserably with Byakuya, but got Soi Fon to help with Ukitake. She pinned him to a tree with daggers through his haori, then used her swords to shred his upper-body clothing while the shinigami whose name I never remember and who is one of Ukitake's two 3rd seats took the photos, apologizing after each one. It ends with Soi Fon asking if she should shred his lower garments.

Soi Fon has hidden depths, it seems.



* Whose president is Yachiru. Who tends to blow the association's budget on candy.

Is this the same "candy" I seem to recall you saying she took in the Bleach character guide? (I really need to decide soon if I want to get that and the tsubasa character guide.)

I remember when I first read the Yoruichi/Soi Fon fight...my main thought was "Soi Fon, I'm sorry, but I think she has a something-something going with Urahara these days." (Actually, I have no idea, but those were some serious issues being tossed Yoruichi's way, there.) I suspect her depths are...astounding. I always sense much repression from her.
