I need to make a new style or template for MT that everyone who has a blog on our system can use.

Does MT have ANY documentation on creating new styles? NO

Is there any documentation out there at all on how to make said styles/templates usable across the whole system? NO

In conclusion: MT can just bite Mello's fabulous ass.

I thought I'd give it another shot for a work project, since they made 4.0 open source and I hadn't used it since 2.66. I couldn't even get the damn thing installed. MT, and 6A, can bite my fabulous ass too.

I keep Strongly Recommending Wordpress, because I already know how to use it*, but I think they want something that's purchasable, so they can phone for tech support if necessary. Well, not that it's purchasable, but you get the idea.




* And it's easier than MT.

I share your sentiments. I had to set up a MT blog this fall and a WP blog this winter, and the latter was about a gazillion times easier to customize.
