Bleach ep 157

Just watched it. No Out of Context Theatre-worthy things, unfortunately. Just a couple of thoughts: I seem to recall from somewhere that Aizen is responsible for the Arrancar's clothing. Or is it just the Espada? Because if it's for the non-Espada Arrancar in Hueco Mundo, he either has incredibly bad taste, or he's enjoying quite the joke on them. Perhaps he, Gin, and Tousen spend their time sitting around dreaming up new fashion don'ts for their Arrancar to wear.

Also: in the manga I didn't like Cirucci Thunderwitch very much, but in the anime she seems more sympathetic to me. I think it's a function of the Ishida-Pesche dynamic. Pesche's Arrancar power, besides spitting a finite amount of slime, seems to be to drag other people into ridiculous petty internet flamewars arguments. So Cirucci's stuck with having this really important fight that might get her back into the Espada constantly interrupted by bickering idiots, moreso than the usual Bleach bickering idiots.

Also, I kinda want to paint her.

I think Tousen doodles something and hands it over to Aizen, who then cackles and makes people wear the "design." Or perhaps Gin designs the worst things he can think of and lets Tousen pick.

(Of course, I'm 90% certain that half the time, even Tite Kubo forgets Tousen is supposed to be blind.)
