In a world where Anne Rice and the gloryfantastic emo vampire is the fandom norm, nurse/activist vampires are just too awesome to imagine. Especially happy nurse/activist vampires (well apart from the unDEAD part but love and eternal dedication to serve life conquers all, right? right!).

I read several volumes, and I liked it a lot! I should get back to it, though as you know, Bob-Stephanie, I don't like reading stuff online and it's even harder now that I'm strictly limiting my internet time to save my elbows.

She kept stats on how many soldiers died of wounds, vs. died of disease and infections. :) I think she even invented the pie chart.
