Just got a call-back from one of the places I sent a resume to, offering me an interview next week.

Wish me luck! It's in Fort Worth, so I wouldn't be leaving the area (and I really don't want to leave the area).

Worse luck? They could have laughed at you and then stolen your pants and made you leave the interview without them. That happened to me once. It sucks.

Ok, not really, but I always feel like it could happen whenever I go to job interviews.

In *that* case what you should have said was "The worst thing that will happen is that they won't hire you" so that would jinx *that* from happening. :)
