WTF?!

I mean, really, WTF?!

It's the print I ordered from DeviantArt. It's the artists that are supposed to be temperamental, not the frickin' art.

Best guess? The box was on the same truck as the tea, and the driver missed it until he got back to the depot.

XD Oh how I love FedEx.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
And people wonder why I tell them to send things to me via UPS. They screw up less than FedEx does around here.

DUMB.

today the fedex guy whined about how heavy my package was. he was like "man, that was crazy to bring up the stairs."

well, i mean, i have an elevator. a package of davey board the size of the sun is NOT meant to be carried up the stairs. i barely could stow it under my bed. he also seemed really confused when he said "is it a painting?" and i said "no, it's board... to make journals with"

hahaha.

Oh man fed ex...don't get me started on fed ex.

I finally have a good FedEx driver. I pray every time I order from someplace that ships FedEx that she'll stay. (I've never seen any other FedEx driver more than once; I've gotten her three times.)

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
*envies*

My least favorite FedEx driver was the one who didn't bother knocking on the door, and instead left the package, WHICH CONTAINED A REPLACEMENT CREDIT CARD that had been overnighted to me by my bank, propped up against the door of my apartment.

Do you have an indoor or outdoor apartment? My FedEx drivers once left a box at the top of the stairs, propped against my door, clearly visible from the parking lot.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
Outdoor. *twitch*

ETA: And I forgot to mention that the package was supposed to be signed for. Aarg.

*sympathizes and has had the same happen*

Perhaps Tecas FedEx sucks in general?

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't be surprised. *sigh*

::stabbities your driver::

Last time I saw this driver, she told me that if I had a delivery for the next day and she couldn't get down the roads (rain was predicted, and the dirt roads here tend to flood), she'd just bring it on Saturday because she lived nearby. I cling to her!

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
That one deserves to be showered with praise and treats!

[identity profile] dragovianknight.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
She does! And it has taken me eight years to get her.

I think I told you something similar happened with my rower when it arrived. I'd have thought that if a package couldn't be delivered, it'd go to the office which is THE BUILDING RIGHT NEXT TO where my apartment is. It came from Amazon.com, but I think it went FedEx. Anyway, there was this box... 4 ft. by 2 ft. by 1 ft... with my door mat placed on top of it. The doormat was positioned over the mailing label.

*facepalm* Yeah, my Mom and I had a laugh about this.

*dies laughing*

That is some temperamental art there.

*wonders if her Saiyuki and Slayers DVDs are sharing the temeramentalness*

Haha, WTF indeed...

Boy, that looks a lot like my Christmas experience with DHL, only their website kept saying my overnight package was being delivered on Dec 24th (which was when it was SUPPOSE TO arrive) instead of Dec 27th (which is when it finally showed up).

When I called customer disservice at 4pm on the 24th, they explained that they'd gotten the package on Saturday from Amazon (who refunded my $) but there were "no flights between DE and NH" from Saturday until Monday, so my package was still in DE. ARGH.

Oops.
