P.S--

If anyone wants to order tea from Adagio Teas (see previous post for review of one of their teas) and you're haven't ordered from them before, let me know because I can send you a $5 gift certificate. :) (I need email address and a name - send to the email address on my LJ info page.)

I am totally not thinking about how they'll give me 10 "good tea points" for every one redeemed and how getting 100 points gets me a $10 gift certificate. XD You also get a point for every dollar spent.

I either am blind today and can't see it, or I'm not filtered to see your e-mail address... but I was planning on making a first order to Adagio Teas soon anyway, and so if you want the points, I'm at cora dot anderson at gmail dot com.

Huh. I hadn't changed it to friends-only. Weird. It's there now. :)

I'd take you up on it, but I hit the tea aisle at the Las Vegas International Market last week. :/

I'll have to check out the site, though I don't have money budgeted at the moment for buying nice tea. (I hate being a grad student.) I used to order a lot from Upton Tea Imports (http://www.uptontea.com/); I loved that their samples started at $1.

You can get samples for $2-6 - you get a small tin good for about 10 cups. :)

I'd take you up on it, but I just hit The English Tea Store (http://www.englishteastore.com) for thirteen different varieties of tea. Even splitting with my sister, that's enough tea for...life. Well, a while anyway.

now just find me a place where i can get good turkish delight and i'll be set for life ;o;.

i swear, out of all the people on this here internet i know, you always manage to get me hooked on things!

BASICALLY.

Did 't know you like teas. There is a great tea speciality store in Japan. I think summerqueen mentioned it on her LJ. Anyway I got their lucky bag during new years and have several 50gram samplers. Would you prefer black tea with flavor or green tea with flavor? http://www.lupicia.com/english/

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
Ooh, thanks! Probably black tea - most of the green teas I've tried I didn't like very much.

[identity profile] tirwen.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 01:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I was looking at the starter set... so off goes an e-mail :)

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
XD And off goes a certificate!

[identity profile] tirwen.livejournal.com 2008-01-11 01:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks very much! :)

I'd love a tea certificate! I'm always up for trying new and exciting ways to start my morning.
