I just went through and deleted everything in my spam folder, which was oddly festive today. 75% o the spamemrs were wishing me a Happy New Year, so it wasn't as annoying a it usually is. XD

:D And Fridays are usually a really slow day on LJ. But I'm at the ref desk and really bored because nobody's in the Library studying, as the semester hasn't started yet. XD

I have to come up with a five-minute talk on social networking for Tuesday, as part of a larger Systems presentation on Web 2.0 at our library inservice. XD I plan on spending Monday blinging out a Myspace page and writing this, instead of doing anything else useful.

I'm doing the column on the first U.S. Presidential election ... its anniversary is Monday. Pretty dull, but I found a fun online toy (fun for history/political geeks, anyway ... otherwise, YMMV) that displays/analyszes election results, to include as part of the article.

Arrrrgh. That'll be us next week. Carpet cleaning. Ick.

At least I'm off the desk now ~~although that doesn't help the 'bored' part, as it's a slow Friday with not too much immediately pressing~~.

Yeah. Nothing pressing here, either. There's stuff I really ought to do....one of these days, but it doesn't have to be today. Urgh.

Exactly. I shall mostly sit here and attempt not to fall asleep. I feel as sleepy as I usually do on Fridays, but I don't have as much sleep deprivation as usual, since it's a three-day week. Hrm.

I fell asleep at my desk a couple weeks ago. Ooops!

Hm. Maybe I should cook up something fun with my ancient graphire tablet....Or I dunno. Write porn. Create prompts. Something for the love of god besides staring at the schedule and hoping I will miraculously have two more trained employees to fill in on Monday nights....

I keep thinking about the crack Bleach Fourth Division Irregulars RPG idea, but I'm sort of stuck on what I need to do to set it up. Hrm. (Besides, maybe, recruiting a few players and setting up a short test run...)
