My cat likes to sleep on cold, hard surfaces. Give her a choice between a nice, cushy bed and a concrete floor, she'll take the floor. She does, however, like to sleep on the couch next to the big warm lamp, but if there's a way to mitigate the horrors of thw snuggly, soft, warm couch, she will do so:

Volume 5 of Trigun Mximum was her preferred choice of pillows until
And now a goofy picture:

And an icon I made of it:

And the aftermath of Today's Big Adventure when the fluffy black cat that hangs around the complex jumped onto my back porch, and my cat gave him what for through the sliding glass door. It's a good thing I hadn't opened the door and left the screen there for ehr to look through - there wouldn't have been a screen left. Now she's stalking around all big and fluffy, determined to protect the home front:

She's now pacing around from window to window. By, God, if that black cat dares shows it's sassy fat tail around here, there'll be hell to pay! XD

The book was published in 1974, so all the photos have people with bad hair. Hopefully she's picking up the martial arts and not the bad hair. She needs to; she really has not much of a sense of balance, for a cat - I've seen her teeter and lose her balance on the edge of the tub, on the toilet, on the windowsill, and so on. My mother laughs at me for keeping the toilet lid closed because of that, but *I* don't want to have seven and a half pounds of sopping wet fury zipping around the apartment when she loses her balance the wrong direction.
