The absence of anything major was a huge help, because by the point I'd gotten the draft hammered out, I wasn't able to tell if it was any good or not. XD Someone reading it, with all its warts, and not responding "What the HELL is this?!" was immensely reassuring, which meant I could focus on the smaller stuff. :D

(And you'll note I gave up on complicating the POV any more than it already was. XD)

Interesting. All of our databases went down about 4 PM, our internal server is also down, and half of our printers have been on the fritz about half of the week.

Ya think maybe it's an end-of-the-semester, OMG-I-have-SO-much-work-to-do sorta thing?

Wouldn't be surprised. I had 5 ref questions on the desk today, when I've had only 1 or 2 each time all semester.

Well, ok, I traded hours so I was on at 11 AM instead of 9, but there's still a lot of papers and tests happening!
