And gosh, tomorrow I get to call the apartment complex: I noticed that when the people above me are taking a shower ... water is trickling down the wall and into my bathtub! NOT GOOD! NO MORE FLOODS!

(You're just supposed to tell me what sort of anime or manga character I'm like. :D But go over to rachelmanija's journal and do it there, instead, as it has many fewer comments and won't cause your browser to collapse in panic, as that one's causing many other browsers to do. XD)

I am cleaning the kitchen tonight, because I refuse to have people see what a slob I really am, and then calling them!

I'm feeling too shy and aged and out of it to go over there ... there are lots of people I don't know well on the thread at the moment. (Mostly I've got over this tendency on LJ, but I guess if it'd going to resurface, this is the kind of time it would be expected.)

About cleaning before the building mgmt shows up ... oh yeah, been there, done that!

I know the rough age range of several people on that thread (er, I think). You needn't feel aged. :D Not feeling up to it: that can certainly be expected, however. XD

I have the kitchen cleaned and the (er, several) bags of trash taken out, and the apartment is, while not clean, at the minimally acceptable level for strangers to traipse through it. So I shall be phoning it in tomorrow morning, along with my complaint about my toilet that keeps running at random times.

* And I accidentally spilled some BPAL (Bakeneko - mostly cinnamon) perfume, so on the bright side: if my apartment smells like cat, at least it smells like cinnamon cat!

Fun meme, but I also don't feel like I know most of the folks there well enough, and vice versa, to pop in. Unless someone can think of a good character for "that odd random snarky person who pops in occasionally". But considering the last time I played a small-scale version of this with a couple of friends I wound up with a fierce Revolutionary Girl Utena obsession and dyed my hair pink for a year...yeah, might be safest to stay away. :)
