I've written everything but the bits that require the names. This is interesting, as it's the first time I've ever written anything out of order. Hmm.

I can't even start writing without names for all major participants (and that includes non-human entities like cities, ships, etc., as applicable).

I'm about to start blocking scenes, which I've never done before, but this is shaping up a lot longer than anything I've written as a fic previously. It'll be easier if I have it outlined as a series of scenes, with a summary of what happens and who's there. Once that's done, I'll write each scene as I would write a short fic.

I have things anchored into the timeline, and I have a pile of name lists, some from canon, some picked up elsewhere.

Failing that, it might make you laugh uproariously (but in that case you have to share!).
