I my brain got as far as slicked back hair and an unhappy Renji fiddling with his collar and died. I wonder how the Victorians would react tyo his tattoos and hair...and attitude...and how many seconds he'd make it before killing people.

And it's anime/manga...clothing NEVER gets in the way of running/fighting, unless it's needed for comedic effect, like tripping saving you from getting your head lopped off or some such.
