So not you. In addition to nimrods, I'm experiencing a plague of irritating bureaucracy. Grr. No, I don't want to fill that form out, I've already done that twice! No, that's not what my file says, and I know so because I've seen in myself! Arg. CICER SMASH!
Much to the contrary (other than being occupied by a fussy baby all day) I had a very helpful pizza delivery guy come to my door. He not only saved the day by bringing dinner, but he opened the door to help me in and even kept the dogs from running out. I was so grateful ;_;
Not just you. It's the last week of the first summer term. Five kids showed up today to start the project that's due tomorrow (I did the library presentation for this class back on May 31).
No same here. It's all dubass stupid process issues and the fact that they make even smart people fucking stupid. So I have smart people DOING stupid things because the system is making them dumb.
Like taking two weeks to tell me the information I provided them is fine, but the person that needs to approve something hasn't seen it.
Other than having to put away Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Green Day (http://www.amazon.com/Rockabye-Baby-Lullaby-Renditions-Green/dp/B000MTOLFY/ref=sr_1_1/002-6611437-5333616?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1182838453&sr=1-1) and wondering why the hell anyone at the library ordered it, I think my day was pretty much nimrod-free.
At the exact time you posted this, I was finishing up a storytime where I had
-twin three-year-olds dumped on me by a mother who wanted to use the computer, and their older siblings; we spent the first five minutes in a dance of the three-year-olds wriggling away and the siblings trying to wrestle them back;
Hmmm ... this reminds me that I managed to avoid one particular nimrod yesterday, but now I'd better get back to him on my own before he comes to find me!

And they won't be going away any time soon, either. :(

-one person who was actually there for storytime.
