I've just made 4 keychains! And discovered that my good printer paper is so thick that only one picture will fit in the keychain, so they ahve no backs. Which is good, because it cuts a hell of a lot of printing time out of the next few days for me. Maybe for the next con I'll experiment to find a thinner paper that still looks good, but not going to worry about it for now.

The last time I got glasses, I got the fashionable rectangular shape. They're small enough that I have to have them seated exactly right on my nose to get the focal point at the right spot, or feel weirdly out-of-sorts, but on the other hand I can now give the Librarian Stare over them by just tilting my head a fraction of a degree. XD

I have slightly lopsided ovals, silver wire. They used to have some blue/smoke tortoiseshell enamel trim, but it's almost all chipped off - I need to get new ones! My prescription is really extreme, so even with the special high-index lenses, they're somewhat heavy, and I end up doing that same stare (mostly) unintentionally.

I'm also starting to do the "lift the glasses to look up close" thing again, so it's probably time to get the lower half of the prescription tweaked once more ... .

Glasses really do lend weight to a tough expression!
