Find portfolios
List prints on paper for inventory control
Find elephant-print table cover
Print business cards

I'm obesessing on the Sephiroth & Vincent ones because they're popular characters and can make very nice, graphic, stunning display pieces.

Dude, you have not seen my kitchen and bathroom. I have two-week-old (at least!) dirty dishes in the sink, and a dead TV on the floor. Don't sweat it.

This yahoo gives up! Who was the vaguely familiar-looking guy?

Do you have a bowl that I could use to put the chocolate in, or hould I bring one?

Were you going to buy carbon copy tear-off receipt books? And print out an Excel sheet of everything so we can just tick it off as we sell it?

[identity profile] rachelmanija.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Missed "receipt books," never mind.

My bathroom currently disgusts *me* because it's full of hair and cat fur and the mildew has started growing back on the grout where I hammered it with bleach a while ago. And this morning I discovered a patch of mildew on the shower curtain where it apparently stays wet after it's pulled back.

My apartment's state is mostly annoying because it was reasonably clean until the flood, and hasn't been put back to rights since, because I havne't had the time. My clothes are living on the two-seater loveseat thingy in my bedroom because I haven't ahd the time to sit down and put the wire shelves they were on back together again.

Aaaaarg!

Yes, I'll print out an Excel spreadsheet. We'll have Toby's laptop, but I don't want him to feel obligated to leave it with us, and a printout will take up less space on the table anyway.

I've got blue plastic bowls we can use. I should buy another brochure-stand thingy so we can prop up a copy of both PBR and Spindrift.

And something in my fridge has gone off and is making it smell. XP I usually ignore that sort of thing until I can't stand it any longer, but when someone else is in the place, my threshold for "can't stand it any longer" drastically lowers.

Oh - if you give up on the one that nobody guessed on, there's a correct guess in my DA scraps here: http://telophase.deviantart.com/gallery/scraps/

A-ha!

[identity profile] rachelmanija.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I looked up Vincent Valentine. Isn't he going to drive you insane with all that detail? He's like Vash the Stampede with blonde hair.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Once it's colored and the hands are inked in, it'll be more clear. :)

[identity profile] rachelmanija.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
BLACK hair.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
The iconic Vincent pictures tend to be of him fairly close up (http://www.volny.cz/janchor/img/vincent.jpg), and that's what I'm doing. I've got some ref already to pick from. if I do anything besides his face, it'll be just his chest up.

He is right up there in the running for the Stupidest Shoes Evar Contest.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
And his Bishounen Type would be Brooding</>.

I need to make an internet quiz for bishounen type, but I'm having a hard time thinking up questions that aren't obvious, because I hate quizzes that are easy to game.

If your sales go way up compared to last A-Kon, I think you should attribute it to my carnival barking, and take me out to dinner in Japan a couple times.

[identity profile] rachelmanija.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
You mean his feet are not triangular?

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm REALLY HOPING they do because I looked at the amount of money I made at AFest and I actually made almost as much at AFest as I did at A-Kon, and that's at a con less than half the size. Of course, we're working at a slight disadvantage in that I really ought to get old commissions out of the way first before I can take any new ones, and that any money that PBR and Spindrift make ends up getting put back into the comics and not used for Japan.

But with those in mind, I will GLADLY take you out to dinner in Japan if that is the case.

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know why he feels the need to wear 15th-century scale mail on his feet when he lives in a futuristic dystopian society. But it's a really bad fashion choice.

[identity profile] rachelmanija.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
You know, if you immediately begin your old commissions as soon as you return from the con (or work on some at the con, as you did last time) you could take new commissions with a clear conscience. There's only two or three commissions outstanding, right?

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Try five. :)

What I'm thinking about at the con is to take commissions for *after* the con, but not taking the money then - basically, they give me the commission info, after the con I work on it, send 'em a small pic of the finished one, and then they pay me and I send 'em the finished picture. That way I can work on old commissions and whatever strikes my fancy at the con itself.

My biggest problem is that I can't concentrate on what I'm doing at the con, because there are constant interruptions and it drives me insane.

[identity profile] rachelmanija.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's a good idea. I'd be so sad if you took no more con commissions. They're so entertaining!

Five, ouch. I only remember Cloud and Kakashi, and "bent over a desk."

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
And Dark Sora. What the hell is Dark Sora? I'm assuming from Kingdom hearts II at some point, but I haven't been able to find any ref. :/
