Things I have accomplished this weekend

1. Bringing the coatrack in from the car and putting it together. (desperately needed, as my coats/scarves/bag tended to spread everywhere.)

2. Accidentally cleaning my room. I didn't intend to, in fact yesterday I intended to clean the office/studio area, but looked up partway through and I seemed to be in my bedroom, picking everything up off the floor there, instead of in the office. O.o So that got done.

3. Washed everything I own that would fit into the washing machine. Almost. I've got a couple of blankets that need it, but they'll make my machine thump thump thump loudly, so I'm going to take them home and wash them in Mom's front-loader the next time I go home.

4. Cleaned the office/studio area on Sunday. It's not completely done: I haven't vacuumed yet and there's a couple of stacks of things and a small box that need to be gone through, but ... I cleaned it. O.o I can see my desk. Almost the entire apartment is done. The apartment pretty much looks done, but the next big jobs are to go through my books and manga and pull out the stuff that's going to Half-Price Books and take it there, and to go through my art supplies, quite harshly, and get rid of things I'm not using or that are broken or dried out or whatever, and find new homes for the rest.

5. Got lunch cooked for two days - nuked one monster potato, then mashed it with a bit of milk and butter, heated up frozen lima beans, and made a chicken dish mostly following a recipe from one of my cookbooks by mixing random herbs into panko crumbs, putting chicken tenders into a baking dish, putting some crumbs on it before remembering I was supposed to put dijon mustard on it first, spreading Dijonnaise all over it, since I didn't have dijon mustard, spreading more herby panko on top of that, then pouring 2 Tb of melted butter on top of it, and baking at 350 for 20 minutes. Mmmmmmm, good.

6. Got rid of about 10 hours of stuff from the TiVo, partly by deciding I was never going to watch some of it, partly by watching half of it then deleting, and partly by watching it as I cleaned or ate or tormented the cat.

7. Confused the cat. This is not hard to do.

What I did not do this weekend

1. Any more art other than Gojyo from Friday. Well, I'm going to noodle around for a few minutes after I post this, but I'm not too worried about not doing art because I think one of the things stopping me from being able to do anything was the huge stacks of junk in the office area.

2. Get Drano for my bathroom sink, which is starting to drain reeeeeally slowly.

3. Make the 2 Gojyo prints, because I discovered that I didn't have another color ink cartridge like I thought I had, and didn't manage to get out teh door to get one. But this is not all bad: in the course of cleaning up my desk I discovered an Office Depot Rewards Card for $22.50 that expires at the end of this month (as well as a money order and two checks for BPAL sales I'd done a while ago :D), so my color cartridge is mostly paid for with that.

4. Sell BPAL. Friday nights are really the best time to post, for some reason. Perhaps because it may be payday for lots of people. Anyway, I need to get the leftover Yule scents up for you guys to pick over first this week, and then post them to the LJ comms next Friday.
