:) I think my favorite bits were with the recreationists, mostly because I used to know anoraks exactly like that.

I have not read the original novel - I think I've managed to age past the time when I could read 17th and 18th century prose for fun and not bounce off it. In highschool, I was a Tom Jones and Moll Flanders geek. XD
