Death Note anime news

Via [livejournal.com profile] keelieinblack: Death Note anime screen photos shots! Looks like they captured the essence of Obata's art when simplifying it: here's hoping that the animation itself is good, along with the story.

Wow, that actually looks really good. And hopefully they won't mess around too much with the story. I wonder if we'll get randomly added/dropped characters. Oddly enough I almost hope that there is a sigle filler episode, just because I wonder what Ryuk does all day.
