Art ideas!

rachelmanija needs to procrastinate!
AnimeFest is coming up in less than a month, and I need to produce art for it. What seems to sell well, besides the poster of the three hot clones from Advent Children, is things that depict little moments between people, especially humorous or "Awwwwwwwwww!". The one I've got of wee!Naruto measuring his hand against Iruka's always sells, as does the Naruto/Hinata one ripping off Lady and the Tramp with ramen noodles. The standard "character-in-pose" doesn't sell especially well - there needs to be some sort of story implied.
So: any ideas? I'll take any manga.anime fandom, although I'm more likely to do something from Naruto, Saiyuki, Death Note, Bleach, Advent Children, Kingdom Hearts I, Fullmetal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, or anything else that's been on the Cartoon Network.

1. Byakuya in the beauty parlor, getting his VERY NOBLE ornamental curlers put in and chatting with other shinigami in the next chairs (Kenpachi-- that 'do must take some maintenance, and Yumichika getting a manicure.)
2. You know that iconic LIFE photo of a WWII sailor bending a woman over backwards for a kiss? Do it with Sakura and Sasuke, with Sasuke the one who's bent over backwards.
3. Kakashi getting "Icha Icha" autographed by Jiraiya.
4. Shikamaru pulling Temari toward him with his shadow.
5. Baby!Gaara building a sand castle.
6. Subaru and Seishirou playing chess (for a white-black destiny extravaganza)
7. Vash at Dunkin Donuts (or Winchell's, whatever's local.)
8. Cop!Hakkai cuffing Hustler!Gojyo.
9. Ukoku and Koumyou facing each other, silhouetted against a full moon.
10. Mugen or Jin, engrossed in some activity, unaware that Momo is about to land on them like the facehugger in "Alien."
I especially like # 1, 5 and 9, and may be attempting them.

Possibles:
- Rukia versus Ichigo (versus additional characters?) in BUMPER CAR DEATHMATCH. If Orihime is including, bonus points if her car has exploding missile launcher breasts.
- Rin combing Sesshomaru's fluffy for fleas, or giving poor Sesshy (or just his fluffy) a flea bath.
- Akito, Tohru, and some or all of the Jyuunishi at a lavish banquet--or Burger King--looking really happy together.
- Deeply disgruntled Kyou with minor scratches and bandages and one of those big white cones around his neck to keep him from licking his wounds, while Tohru worries and Yuki and Haru laugh their asses off.
- Wee!Kyou, wee!Yuki, and wee!Tohru in a playground (Kureno and Kyoko if you're feeling insanely ambitious?), with Kyou and Yuki squabbling over the jungle gym or something.
- Tsunade and her slug being defeated by a giant evil WAVE OF BEER.
- Rock Lee kicking Sasuke's or Neji's ass at Dance Dance Revolution.
- Wee!Kankurou putting on a puppet show for wee!Temari and wee!Gaara.
- L and Ryuk bitchfighting over a box of caramel apples, while Light uses the CLEVER SUGARY DISTRACTION to press the World Domination button.
- L in a deerstalker cap and blowing bubbles on a dramatic Holmesian pipe. Light with a ridiculously fake Watson mustache.

But it might be hard to recognize Subaru & Seishiro if they're sitting there, playing chess, so how about them shopping for clothes? Subaru needs a new stupid hat.

That scene in Burial with Sanzo leaning on a post smiling at sleeping!Goku, except translated into Gaiden terms. So Konzen watching sleeping wee!Goku from a distance and actually cracking a real smile or something.
Pinky promise scene with the Sanzo-ikkou under the sakura with sake, with maybe ghost impressions of Konzen, Kenren and Tenpou watching them.
Wee!Ichigo taking care of wee!Karin and wee!Yuzu. I think he should be giving Karin a piggy back ride and looking grumpy while Yuzu tugs on his shirt.
