Someone else is watching Princess Tutu and wanting icons. :)

Yeah, took me like 30 seconds to give in. So much for not procrastinating. :-)

For almost half a year now I've been planning to watch, too. But I'm thinking about waiting for all the DVDs to come out first; also, I think it would be more fun to watch with a group.

YAY PRINCESS TUTU!

I wrote my senior research paper on it.

...I get to say that for the rest of my life.

......AWESOME.

Okay, now that just rocks.

(What aspects of the story did you write it on?)

I've seen teh first 3 DVDs and the 4th is at the top of my Netflix list, when I get around to watching and mailing back the DVDs I've got out right now.

Which are: Conduct Zero, Ichi the Killer, and The Happiness of the Katakuris, which are all movies I want to watch, not just put on in the background and listen to while I do art, so it may be a bit before I can get around to them.

(Looking at it from a feminist postmodernist perspective, in particular how the characters, especially Ahiru/Duck, rewrite the story and their roles in it from the inside. I need to go back and work on it more this summer; it's still a mess. But a FUN mess. :D)

Princess Tutu - WIN. It has three of my favorite things--ballet, magical girls, and ducks!

Coolness, that.

Once we get season two, I'm really curious to see how that rewriting from within progresses.

Season 2 is what ate my brain on the matter, really.
