That is indeed one kick arse lady. It's a good story to finish my day on :)

I found her on another site today, and after poking about and deciding this article was the most factual account of her life I could find, thought that you guys would appreciate knowing about her. :D

Yup! There seems to be a bit of folklore aobut her, that she smoked cigars, and that she once punched a man out with one blow, but this article seemed to be the most factual about her. She's kick-ass enough as is without having to add stuff on to her. :D

That is really cool. I just finished reading a biography of Marie Curie and though reading of these women who were pioneers in their day if neat - at the same time, doesn't it sometimes make you feel like there is nothing quite as challenging or honorable as those ladies? Their accomplishments and incredible lives devastate my mind.

On a completely unrelated note, I finally decided to see what Deathnote was. You are the only person I've "met" that ever mentioned it. I found the chapters for download on Saturday and have been completely hooked since. I'm only on chapter 45, but damn....Deathnote has me hook, line and sinker. 0_o
