Lemming time

Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] theferrett, bound to be all over the Net before too long.

Select words that describe me and after a while, the differences between how I perceive myself and how others perceive me will, as [livejournal.com profile] theferrett puts it, become glaringly obvious.

(Luckily, they're pretty much all positive words, so nobody has to worry about accidental insults or me taking offense. XD)

Huh, that's really interesting!

I bet it would be really interesting to see how people who know you (generic you) exclusively in RL, exclusively online, and both, all see you differently.

I may do it for myself later, but not today, as today my monthly hormonal crash of doom spent the night telling me "You have no life and no personality, just chronic illness!" and while I'm telling it to "stuff it" now that I'm awake, it's still trying very hard to warp my perception of myself, and since I haven't been up to posting about much except my crappy health for the last couple of months, I'm afraid this meme might "prove" it right. :P

Yeah - I know my online persona is more outgoing and assertive than my RL persona is, so it'd be interesting to see how the perceptions change. :D

Well, it's full of positive words, so who knows? XD

Ooh, neat. I wish there was more word choice though, or at least a little more variation (calm & relaxed, cheerful & happy).

Yeah, there's no option for anyone to pick personality traits of "chronically ill" or "useless lump of pain" so that should work out. I just have to recover enough from the hormones to figure out how I want to describe myself, beyond the temporary (I like to think it's temporary, anyway) tense, nervous, etc.

I've had a smoothie, the day is looking much better already. ^_^
